Choose a starting point
Select the project type and describe the garment. Explain whether the next reply should propose a direction, review a reference or discuss a defined article. An internal reference can identify the project without pretending to be a manufacturer article number.
Record constraints
State composition requirements and whether alternatives are permitted. Add finished-weight and usable-width targets with units. Leave unknown values empty. A fixed 100% wool requirement must remain a buyer constraint, even if an alternative is later proposed.
Identify references
Include the reference ID and current revision. Describe the surface or finishing direction and sample requirement. Attach photographs in your own communication application after generating the brief; this tool does not upload attachments or confirm receipt.
Add the order context
Record quantity per colour, number of colours, target date, destination and any test requirements. Price target is optional. A target date or buyer value is not a production commitment. Keep unresolved conditions in the open-question field.
Review and send
Build the record and check units and values. Copy or download TXT for a full-length file. Long email messages have a copy/download fallback. WhatsApp opens a short summary and reminds you to paste the complete brief. Review and send the final message yourself.
Solve an inquiry scattered across several messages
Put the garment and immediate request in the description, then identify the reference and revision. Add known composition, finished weight, usable width, surface, quantities by colour and sample need. Use the notes for the specific questions still open.
Do not invent values to make the form look complete. A clearly marked unknown gives the team a question it can answer. The brief is useful when it explains what is mandatory, what may be proposed and what next decision the buyer needs.
Review the output against the source information
The exported manufacturing brief is in English while your entered values are preserved. Check that article references, units, quantities and dates reflect the intended request. Explain the meaning of a target date in the description if needed.
A generated record does not establish factory confirmation. If you already have a response, retain its document or message reference and use the specification or approval tool for the relevant decision. Keep the new request and earlier accepted article clearly distinguished.
Illustrative first brief without a physical sample
Suppose you have a coat image and a required cutting width but do not know the composition or weight. Describe the image as a visual reference, enter the known width requirement and state that sample options are needed to define the remaining article.
The next decision is a suitable physical direction, not a final order approval. This hypothetical case shows that an incomplete specification can still produce a useful inquiry when its known constraints and open questions are clear.
Keep a copy before leaving the browser
Use TXT, CSV, copy or print to retain the reviewed record as appropriate. If storage is unavailable, export the work you need before leaving. Saving excludes contact details and free-text notes, so those entries should not be expected in a later recovered draft.
Open email or WhatsApp only after reviewing the output. For a long record, download and attach it in your application. The website does not send the message or reserve samples; follow the actual project response for those confirmations.
Prepare the next decision
| Input | Decision to make | Record to keep |
|---|---|---|
| Minimum | End use or description | Retained input |
| Constraints | Fixed versus open | Buyer target |
| Reference | ID and revision | Attachment index |
| Quantity | Each colour and units | Project context |
| Sharing | Full record and own attachments | Reviewed message |
Questions for this stage
What if I do not know GSM?
Leave it empty. The output asks for confirmation instead of inserting zero.
Does a recommended material meet my fixed requirement?
Only an identified confirmation can establish that. A recommendation does not change the original buyer constraint.
Can the tool attach photographs?
No. Add files in your own email or WhatsApp application after reviewing the prepared message.
Why are blank fields kept as to be confirmed?
A blank is an open requirement, not zero or an accepted default. Keeping that status visible helps the team identify the next clarification.
Why did my notes not return with the saved draft?
The saved browser draft excludes contact details and free-text notes. Export a reviewed record if you need to retain those entries, and manage the file appropriately on your device.
